Today, I’m going to show you how to break your social media silence.
If you haven’t posted over the last few weeks or even months, and are wondering how to re-engage your audience, this is the one for you.
By following these 3 post strategies, you’ll reconnect with your existing followers while attracting new ones – all without spending hours staring at a blank screen
I see so many brokers do this: they disappear for months, then stress about the “perfect” comeback post. They spend weeks planning, second-guessing every word, and then never get around to posting.
Today, that changes.
The algorithm didn’t forget you, you forgot to show up
1. 👋 The Re-Introduction Post
Social media is so busy that people quickly forget who you are.
A simple reintroduction helps humanise your brand and reminds followers why they followed you in the first place.
Use the 3 W’s as a framework for your post:
• Who You Are: Give them a background with a bit of personality
• What You Do: Remind them what your role is
• Who You Help: Describe your ideal client
This type of post builds connection and increases engagement
People are more likely to engage with someone they feel they know, not just someone selling a service.
2. 💡 The Authority-Builder Post
Why should people trust you?
We need to display your authority in the industry, and we do this by showing past success
Create a post which explains 3 of your best case studies:
- How you got someone an extra £30,000
- What you did to get someone a yes when they’d been told no
- How many mortgages you have done since you started your role
This will turn lurkers into leads when they realise how good you are at your job.
3. 🏡 The “Local Love” Shoutout Post (10x your Reach!)
Promoting other local businesses isn’t just a nice thing to do, it’s a clever strategy to boost visibility and get your business seen.
Create a post which shows you’re local and tag 3 of the most followed social media profiles in your area, who you use:
• A shoutout to your go-to coffee shop, pub or gym
• A recommended solicitor, conveyancer, or tradesperson
• A quick story about a positive local business experience
These businesses could share your post to their page (increasing your reach) or at the very least you form a positive partnership with local businesses for the future.
Using these 3 posts will relaunch you on social media with an almighty bang!
Try them this week and let us know how you get on.
Until next week.
Chris.
